When it comes to laundry lately, I struggle with follow through. To be fair, laundry is actually my favorite chore; it smells good, it’s warm and cozy when it pops out of the dryer, and I actually enjoy making the perfect little stacks of clean clothes. There are just so many gosh dang steps, and our laundry room is small, crowded, and generally not my favorite place in our house to hang out. However, a major renovation of our laundry room is not in the works, so I know these “problems” aren’t anywhere close to disappearing!

At the same time, I’m all about making small investments with big payoffs, and I think Ronda Batchelor (the woman in the video below) has some pretty genius ideas on how to do just that!

If you could see our laundry room right now, you would understand why I’m especially mesmerized by her method for quickly drying those hand washables that can’t go in the dryer — I currently have a very messy pile of jeans, sweaters, and tops hang drying all over the place in our laundry room. I don’t even want to go in there! This makes sense, as, according to Ronda, “If your laundry room is prettier, it’s a lot more fun to do laundry.” Amen to that.

I’m on the lookout for some easy, inexpensive ways to make our laundry room both efficient and, well, pretty.  It’s time for some Friday Pinspiration! Here are some of my favorite laundry pins. Like what you see? Click on the image to visit the original site.

I’m yawning less already just scrolling through these lovely ideas!

This weekend, I’m on a mission to start and finish our laundry, knock out some grading, and start beautifying our yard. What are all of you up to on this wonderfully sunshiny Friday?
